A video of Julius Malema, Godrich Gardee, Dali Mpofu and Floyd Shivambu dancing made waves on social media. The video had people on Twitter making jokes of the different categories in a certain circumstance. Most people made jokes about the different levels of drinking alcohol.
One tweep made a joke about the different stages of dancing saying the Floyd Shivambu means Sober, Julius Malema means tipsy, Dali Mpofu means drunk. The tweep also made a joke about Godrich Gardee, saying that tweep looks like him throughout the whole party. Tweeps were in stitches.
One tweep laughed it off and said “Okay fighters maybe we should just stick to politics.” Another tweep said: Well captured Asanda. That foretells that the leadership is not in synch (sync)…” One tweep Floyd Shivambu and said “the aim is not to sweat,” a quote used by most deep house fans.
Other tweeps also gave their stages using the video. One tweep says this how most people are at parties. She says “10pm: we are Floyd, Midnight: we are Juju, 3am: we are Dali.” One tweep says he looks like Floyd when they play gqom or amapiano, he then says that Julius and Dali are him when the play hip hop.
Another tweep categorised them in terms of family members at a family event. The tweep says Godrich Gardee is “that” uncle, Julius Malema is the cousin who listens to deep house, Dali Mpofu is the eager cousin from the city who is convinced he’s blending in and Floyd Shivambu is the cousin who is trying to fit in with the cool cousins but it’s not his type of scene.
