Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the D916 in Nositha KwaGamalakhe on the KZN South Coast.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a mini-bus taxi lost control resulting in the vehicle coming to rest down an embankment.
A total of eleven patients were assessed on scene and found to have sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
Once treated all the patients were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further assessment
