On Monday, 20 April 2020 at about 07:00 a case of house breaking was reported at Mothibistad police station.
According to the report 20 tablets and groceries were stolen after a break in and theft at a local primary school.
The very same day at about 12:30 13 tablets, a heater, broom and groceries were recovered by Mothibistad Detectives members at various places where it was hidden by a 19-year-old male suspect with four minors between 14 and 16 years. Five suspects were arrested. The total value of the items recovered is estimated at R60 000-00.
Later on 7 other tablets were recovered by the very same team. The four minors were released into the care of their parents.
The fifth suspect will appear before the Mothibistad magistrate court on charge of being in possession of suspected stolen goods and house breaking and theft.
