Wednesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on William Nicol Drive in Bryanston Sandton.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a mini-bus taxi lost control resulting in the taxi rolling several meters down an embankment.
Medics assessed the scene and found that sixteen patients, male and female had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.
The patients were treated on scene and once stabilised were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.
All necessary authorities were on scene.
