Do you always feel like having a sweet treat but as soon as possible. Well, you can actually do that with some ingredients, a mug and microwave oven. Here you’ll get 3 sweet desserts that’ll satisfy your sweet tooth and easy to make if you are not a baking person (like me).
1. Chocolate Mug Cake
The Chocolate mug cake is a quick dessert for chocolate lovers. And we know there are a lot of chocolate lovers out there. This amazing dessert just needs ingredients you already have in your cupboard and it takes just 7 mins to make. All you need is 4 tablespoons self-raising flour, 4 tablespoons caster sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 3 tablespoons milk, 1 egg, 3 ml vanilla essence, 1 tablespoon butter and 3 tablespoons chocolate chips (to enhance the sweetness, if you want ).
How to make:
Mix all the dry ingredients in a microwave safe coffee mug. Beat the 1 egg till it fully combines. Mix the milk, oil and vanilla essence. This is also a good time to include the chocolate chips if you want. Put the mug with all the ingredients for 3 minutes. The cake should rise to the top of the mug. When the cake rises, let it settle down before enjoying it with a spoon.
2. Microwave Mug Cheesecake
This beautiful microwave dessert takes under a minute to make. Seriously it does. All you need is 1 tin of 400g condensed milk and 1 litre of double cream yoghurt, and biscuits if you want. Yes, just two ingredients are needed to make this cake.
How to make:
Mix the yoghurt and condensed milk together. Make sure it mixes perfectly. Crush your biscuits and put them at the bottom. Put the ingredients in the microwave oven for a minute. Now go have a good looking an tasty cheese cake.
3. Red Velvet In A Mug
Red velvet is probably that new kid on the block that everyone likes in cake avenue. This beautiful cake just oozes of love. It just takes over 2 minutes to make this beauty. All you need is 1 tablespoon of butter, 3 tablespoons milk, 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar, 4 tablespoons self-raising flour, 3 tablespoons caster sugar, 1 teaspoon cocoa powder, a pinch of salt and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder. You can also add 5 drops of red food colouring and ice-cream for topping if you want.
How to make:
Firstly mix the milk and vinegar in a mug. Mix them properly. Mix the dry ingredients (sugar, flour, caster sugar, baking powder and salt) in a bowl. Add the ingredients in the milk and vinegar mixture. You can then add the butter and food colourant. Mix them until they are smooth. Place it in the microwave oven for 2 minutes. The cake will rise and fall a bit because it’s made with the microwave. To end it all off, you can top it with one tablespoon of ice-cream.
