Sunday night Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N3 between Camperdown and Ashburton, in Mkhambathini Pietermaritzburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that a light motor vehicle and a light delivery vehicle were involved in a collision while travelling in the same direction.
Medics assessed the scene and found that six people had sustained minor injuries.
The patients were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.
All necessary authorities were on scene
