Bonang Matheba
Lebonza is no stranger to making huge moves this year. The media personality was part of an international documentary that she co-produced titled ‘Public Figure’. She also launched her own alcohol beverage titled ‘House Of BNG’. She was also given several awards such as the ‘E! Africa Ultimate Pop Culture Icon Award’, the ‘Inspiration And Influence Award’ at the Global Social Awards, the ‘Best Celebrity Influencer’ Award at the 2019 Cospmopolitan Influencer Awards and the ‘Coolest Online Influencer’ award at the 2019 Sunday Times Next Gen Awards.
Nandi Madida
The media personality quickly got her hustle groove back. She partnered with internationally renowned shoe brand ALDO for their range titled ‘The Power Woman Collection’. She is part of the new SABC 3 marketing show ‘The Next Brand Ambassador’. The artiste has collaborated with K.O on their new song ‘Say You Will’.
Nadia Nakai
Bragga has been doing a lot this year. The hip hop artist launched her album ‘Nadia Naked’ in June, inviting some of her celeb friends for a listening. She is the host of the Mtv hip hop show alongside Scoop Makhathini titled ‘Yo! MTV Raps Africa’. She was also on some of the biggest magazine covers such as Man Mag SA and Cosmopolitan SA. She was also announced that she is now the female ambassador of clothing giant Reebok in South Africa.

The electro hip hop musician has been making a name for herself overseas. She won the award for the Best New International Act at the BET Awards. The musician has also been getting a lot of support for her ‘John Cena’ song that she performed on the YouTube show ‘Colors’. The artist was also chosen to be part of Vogue magazine’s ‘Vogue World 100’. She also won two awards at the 25th SAMAs ceremony, ‘Female Artist Of The Year’ and ‘New Comer Of The Year’. She also partnered with retail clothing giant Edgars in making her own range. She was also announced as part of the Forbes 30 under 30 list in the category of creatives.
DJ Zinhle
The number 1 female DJ has been making moves this year. She announced that she was having a partnership with American Swiss for her ‘EraByZinhle’ jewellery range, she is the new brand ambassador for cosmetics giant Olay, she is also the new face of the internationally acclaimed eyewear brand Prive Revaux, she collaborated with Miss SA 2019. The DJ has also launched her own home range titled ‘Jiyane Atelier’. She has also announced that she bagged another deal with the South African Spring Open 2019.
Thuso Mbedu
Thuso has been in the South African entertainment industry. It was announced that she would be part of the historical film about the life of the famous American woman who saved slaves, Harriet Tubman, titled ‘The Underground Railroad’.
Nomzamo Mbatha
The actress has been all over the world with her humanitarian work. She has now been recently announced as part of the cast of the popular Eddie Murphy movie sequel titled ‘Coming 2 America’.
