People Chant Justice For Senzo While Kelly Khumalo Performs! Kelly, who was Senzo’s girlfriend at the time of his death, was singing at Chatsworth Stadium when the cries occurred.
Kelly Khumalo walked off stage after performing two songs at an EFF campaign rally this weekend in Durban. She walked off after participants at the rally were shouting “Senzo” and showed a banner that read “JUSTICE FOR SENZO MEYIWA.” The chants were for the justice of the death of the slain Bafana Bafana goalkeeper.
Kelly, who was Senzo’s girlfriend at the time of his death, was singing at Chatsworth Stadium when the cries occurred. According to Times Live the cries started roaring at the back of the stadium when the singer performed her first track on the stage. She told the DJ that she would sing one more song and then leave the stage.
When the banner was shown, Kelly looked at the poster with a blank face. She then walked off stage and went into a waiting car. This event occurs just after her recent plea on eNCA to the police. She pleaded to police to find the suspect who killed her then boyfriend, Senzo Meyiwa.
