I got married last year…
Back in college there was a girl, she was my girlfriend I called her ashi…I got in to Tcs & she in to infy.. I joined chennai & she at mysore. due to the distance the relationship faded & we subconsiously broke up. and then came facebook. we became friends on it..and fell in love again..I decided to refer her in to my project in Tcs. though she was from other technology she cleared interview,we both in same project.. she was mostly in to night shifts and with another guy (Mr. X)who was known to be a player(flirt)..she enjoyed his company..we had formal patchup & were together..one day I asked her to be cautious of him…she took it lightly and and made a joke of it in front of every one at our collegues b’day party… I was badly pissed off, never spoke a word to her after that..I switched the company in a month..I was in Wipro..she tried calling me but i never picked her call..and in turn she deleted me from FB..Then marriage proposals poured in for me,(Gujratis get married soon)…& I accepted one..
It was diwali,big timerush, I luckily got a berth,she was also on same train but her berth was not confirmed..I saw her, approached her & gave her my berth…actually we shared the side lower berth…she was also about to see a boy this diwali..after returing ,ashi sent me frn reQ on FB.. I was about to call ashi but my ego stopped me.. meanwhile my mom called and asked me to give final decession about the Gujju girl which i had accepted earlier, by morning… And due to ego, whole night I dint call ashi..
Today I am happily married,happier like never before & back to Tcs and my wife is also in Tcs.. Guess what.. ashi my ex-gf is now my wife…all bcoz that night she called me… Life is to short to fit Ego in it.. I learnt it hope you all to realize it too..”
