Police in Khutsong arrested a 26-year-old male for murder that occurred on 12 May 2019 in the early morning, at Sonderwater informal settlement.
Information reveals that the victim was from a tavern with a friend to his place and was followed by the suspect. After his arrival home, his shack was thrown with stones. He went out to check what was happening and he got stabbed by the suspect and died at the scene. The motive to the murder is been investigated by Khutsong detectives.
A suspect was later arrested by the detectives and appeared at Magistrate’s Court on 13 May 2019.
The Station Commander Colonel Melinda Prinsloo welcome the arrest and applauded the members for a quick response to the information.
