A video recording of a snake in a car made rounds on the internet. The video recording shows people pulling a tail from the left tyre side of a bakkie. One person pulled the metal so the other person can pull.
When they were done pulling, a snake came out. One man then pulled the snake away from the bakkie. The video recording made some social media users feel sorry for the snake because of the way it was pulled.
One social media user says, “It breaks my heart to see this. There is (are) better ways.” One user says the men could have hurt the snake. The user says, “Yanking and pulling this South African python so hard will (Would) have seriously injured it…very possibly broken his ribs and spine. South African pythons are endangered and protected species.”
Others made jokes about the snake being in the car. One social media user says, “…Hand it the car keys and slowly walk away. The car belongs to the snake now.” One social media user says, “Why not set the car on fire?” One social media user compared the snake to his former partner. The user says, “That’s where my ex has been all these years.”
