Thulasizwe Dambuza, commonly known as Lasizwe, is a social media influencer, television personality, comedian, acto, radio host and YouTuber. Lasizwe says when he came out about his gender, his mother did not approve of it at first.
He told Sowetan Live that his late mother didn’t speak with him for approximately six months after he told her. He then lost man friends at school because they thought that he wanted them as guys. He also says that he could not get gigs in the entertainment industry the first time around because of his gender.
Thandiswa Mazwai
Thandiswa Mazwai is a singer and songwriter, she is also the lead singer of Bongo Maffin. She is also the sister of Ntsiki Mazwai. Thandiswa is not one to publicly display her relationship but she has publicised that she was in a relationship with another lady. She also stood up for the movie Inxeba in 2017 when it was negatively criticised. She said that African gay people don’t have to be invisible for anyone.
Toya Delazy
Toya Delazy is a singer and songwriter. She is the granddaughter of the IFP Leader, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi. Toya has been publicly lesbian when she came into the entertainment industry. She once slammed a person for telling her that she was not allowed to wear certain traditional Zulu attire because even though she was lesbian, she was not allowed to wear attire for men as a physical woman. She likes performing at Pride events all over the world.
Nakhane Toure
Nakhane Toure is a singer, songwriter and actor. He came into the entertainment industry as a n openly gay person. Nakhane starred in the highly criticised movie by the name of “Inxeba: The Wound.” He was negatively criticised for playing the part of a gay man in the movie, he didn’t expect to get death threats from other Xhosa men.

Somizi Mhlongo is an actor, singer, choreographer, and television and radio personality. He is currently dating Mohale Motaung. He came out as gay when he was dating the mother of his daughter and actress, Palesa Madisakwane. When him and Pales were dating he thought that he was Bi-sexual.
