Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the corners of A.M. Hlogwane and A.P. Khumalo streets in Katlehong.
Reports from the scene indicate that two light motor vehicles were involved in a collision and then crashed into pedestrians.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that seven people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise them.
Once treated all the patients were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.
