A man by the name of Sawa Sivu uploaded a post on social media, telling people how he took the blame for what a fellow co-worker did. The man says that the woman has been accused of stealing food. The man did not want her to lose her job, so he just took the blame. He says a meeting was held after one of his colleague’s bread was bit by someone, and they realised that the culprit was the cleaning lady.
The man says, “So today someone bit this other yt (white) colleague’s bread in the kitchen…It was clear who the perpertrator was. Our cleaning lady.” He went on to say that the other colleagues also spoke about their food that were also stolen. The man says, “This was discussed quite ferociously by the yt (white) folks and others came to the fore about missing biscuits, milk that always runs out mysteriously…”
Sawa Sivu then stood up and decided to take the blame for the woman. He was scared that they would fire her and she somehow also knew that she was in trouble, the colleagues made weird remarks about her. He told them that he was the one who was stealing his colleagues’ food.
“Before they could call umama to the boardroom to give her the news of her dismissal, I remember noticing she had caught on on what was happening. There were snide comments that were being made before the ‘emergency meeting’ had begun. So I stopped them from calling and said I had taken the bread, the biscuits and I had drank the milk.” The man was given a written warning, which was reversed once he told took his post to social media.
