Some of our celebs get out of the entertainment industry without us noticing. When we do notice, we ask ourselves what are they doing with their lives. Well, some of our celebs moved on to jobs that aren’t part of the entertainment industry. These are the celebs that chose to go do something different:
Merica Monamodi
Merica is a television presenter that started her presenting career with SABC 1’s ‘YoTV’. She has taken a break from television even though she still uses her YouTube. She moved to South Korea to be an educator.
Musa Mthombeni
Musa Mthombeni became a child-star when he started being a presenter for SABC 1’s teen show YoTV. He left the entertainment industry for a while so that he could be a doctor. He plans to have his own practice in future.
Selae Thobakgale
Selae Thobakgale has been the host of SABC 1’s ‘YoTv’ since she was in primary school. The former presenter left the entertainment industry to spread her wings in other sectors. Selae Thobakgale is a businesswoman, motivational speaker and a brand strategy director.
Precious Kofi Schamel
Precious Kofi Schamel is an actress and television presenter. However, she hasn’t been on people’s screens for a while. She has been out of the entertainment industry and went into the fitness industry by working as a fitness coach.
Mandisa Nakana
Mandisa Nakana used be a presenter on SABC 1’s teen show ‘YoTV. The woman has gotten out of the entertainment industry to help people. She lives in the United Kingdom with her husband, where she is a psychologist.
