His son, Jesse Clegg, who’s also a musician himself went on to speak about the heartache he has with his father’s passing away. He went on to tell people on social media how his father has influenced him as a man and as an artist. Jesse Clegg says, “Thank you for the magical gifts you have given us and for creating a special place in your life for your family. You have inspired me both as a musician and as a man, and given me tools to live a meaningful life. I will miss you deeply and struggle to imagine a world without you. But I am comforted to know that your wisdom and compassion lives in all of us. Hamba kahle dad, be at peace. You have done so much and we honour you.”
The statement was captioned by saying “Hamba Kahle dad. Love you always.” A statement by the family was released today (Wednesday). The family asked fans to send donations to a literacy foundation instead of laying flowers by the home.
