The National Prosecuting authority says he has been given life in prison on Friday, he is also given 162 years for other 24 counts of crime that he is looking at.
He is looking at cases of rape, sexual grooming, sexual abuse, obscene abuse and for having child pornography. The ex model agency boss did the crimes between 2008 and 2013. It was also found that he sexually abused numerous teenage girls in 2011 and 2012. Amidst all the charges against him, he was charged for the raping of a girl that was 15-years-old in 2011.
Dawie de Viliers pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. Phindi Mjonondwane, the Gauteng National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson, told News24 that the ex model agency boss was sentenced at the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg. February 2017, the ex model agency boss was guilty of 32 out of the 38 charges against him. He was also looking at charges of fraud and theft that were linked to him taking money from clients and not doing the work he promised as an agent. One of the minors testified at the court that Dawie de Villiers made her undress in front of him.
