Cassper Nyovest has been trending on social media for a statement he said regarding the support that Nigerian artists receive in Nigeria. The tweet had people bashing him for supposedly not thinking about his fans and the support they give him with his ‘Fill Up’ concerts. Some tweeps bashed him for supposedly not being proud of his own country, this also includes the rapper’s long-time rival AKA.
The Super Mega went on to bash Cassper for supposedly not being proud of his country, the hip hop artist also went on to ask people to post South African flags. “Drop a [South African flag emoticon] if you proud to be South African,” said AKA. The hip hop artist went on to say that a person can’t disown their country and then want to lead the country. “You cannot disown your own people and in the next breath want to lead them. Somebody had to say something. Unfortunately or fortunately…somehow it must always be me,” said Super Mega.
Mufasa replied to the comment in his own tweet. The hip hop artist used the famous advice from AKA that people should drink their water and mind their own business. Cassper asked if AKA was out of water to drink. Mufasa says, “Maybe [the water’s finished]?” Fans replied to Cassper Nyovest’s tweet. One fan says, “We need to call @jaden fast to come and rescue us by supplying water to the gentlebrother…We want peace…” One tweep says minding your own business is boring. The tweep says, “There is nothing more boring [than] minding your own business Cass.”
