KwaZulu-Natal: At 08H34 Tuesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the M1 Higginson Highway above the N2 bridge near Chatsworth Durban South.
Reports from the scene indicate that a light delivery vehicle and a truck were involved in a collision.
A total of five occupants had sustained minor injuries.
The passenger of the bakkie had to be freed by the Ethekwini Fire and Rescue Services while Paramedics stabilised the patient.
Once treated the patient was transported to hospital for further treatment.
