During its first season, ‘Raising Babies 101’ became an important platform in which new and expectant parents and caregivers were given the opportunity to learn, converse and share experiences when it comes to raising children. Now, after a wildly successful debut season, the series is back for an exciting second season which promises to be bigger and better than before.
The second season, which premieres on Monday 6 July at 9am on SABC 2, will officially be expanding to three episodes a week – giving viewers even more depth and knowledge than ever before.
Seasoned radio presenter and television host Carol Ofori returns as host this season. With her bubbly approach to life and being a mother to two beautiful children, Carol is excited to bring her knowledge and experience back to the ‘Raising Babies’ platform. As always, nothing is out of bounds as Carol and the team open up about every facet of parenthood in a relatable and educational way.
After a successful first season, Carol is looking forward to what the new season has to offer. “I am over the moon that the second season of ‘Raising Babies 101’ is here,” Carol says. “Viewers can expect many new and exciting twists to the format this season, and even some new faces in the studio. This season is going to be even more exciting for me, personally, now that I have welcomed my baby girl into the world. During the first season, I was a mother to one and now, being a mom of two, a whole new dynamic presents itself for me as both a mom and presenter and I am excited to share this experience with the viewers at home. I am looking forward to imparting my knowledge and learning a few more new tricks along the way as well.”
Carol adds that the second season of ‘Raising Babies’ will be full of surprises and promises viewers the best tips and tricks to help navigate the often-daunting task of raising babies. “We have worked really hard this season to bring you exceptional content and I can’t wait to create some interesting conversations in the weeks and months to come.”
