NGQELENI – A 23-year-old man was arrested for an alleged rape that occurred at Skansini locality Buntingville A/A in Ngqeleni yesterday, 19 September 2020 at about 21:00.
It is alleged that an 11-year-old girl went missing on the evening of 17 September 2020. Her mother searched for her and found her at the suspect’s homestead and she alleged to have been raped by the suspect.
A rape case was then register9ed and the suspect was arrested yesterday, 19 September 2020, at his homestead.
He will be caused to appear before Ngqeleni Magistrate Court tomorrow.
