On Friday, 16 October 2020, members of De Aar K9 Unit and Prieska Visible policing as well as Detectives operationalised crime intelligence information.
During the operation three suspects were arrested at different places for dealing in drugs.
In the first arrest, a 27-year-old man was found in possession of tik drugs weighing approximately 3.45 Kilogram and an undisclosed amount of cash.
In a separate incident, a 38-year-old man was also found in possession of dagga while a third suspect, aged 24 was found in possession of 24 mandrax tablets.
All the drugs confiscated are estimated to the street value of about R18 900-00. The arrested suspects are expected to appear before Court soon. The Station Commander of Prieska, Lt Col Ndou applauded the members for the swift reaction that led to the arrest and confiscation of drugs.
