During the 22 July 2021 and 23 July 2021, Chris Hani District Detectives held an operation to seek suspects and stolen property in the Chris Hani District.
Successes included:
* 127 Suspects arrested,
* 4 Warrants of arrest executed,
* 4 Warnings for court issued, and
* 1 Subpoenas served.
Property recovered:
* Cofimvaba – Possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition – one firearm and ammunition seized,
* Dalasile – Possession of an illegal firearm – one firearm seized,
* Mlungisi – Malicious damage to property- property seized,
* Cofimvaba – Possession of an unlicensed firearm – one firearm seized,
* Ntabathemba – Office furniture seized.
The Acting District Detective Commander of Chris Hani District, Colonel Errol Fortuin commended the district detectives on the successes achieved.
