NORTHERN CAPE – Members of the ZF Mcgawu District Highway Patrol have been praised by Upington Volkswagen management for a swift outstanding service they rendered on the night of Thursday, 04 August 2022.
A positive security alarm was reported at Upington Volkswagen at about 23:10 on Thursday, 04 August 2022 and the members responded.
On arrival the suspects had already fled the scene and a laptop was reported missing. The members immediately conducted preliminary investigations and activated the necessary people.
They received information about the location of the suspects and two men aged 19 and 22 were found in possession of the stolen laptop. They were arrested and are expected to appear in court soon.
The property was handed back to the lawful owner.
