Port St John’s detectives are urgently seeking the community assistance in tracing a suspect who shot and killed two adult males age 62 and 70 years at Mhlotsheni hall Majola A/A.
It is alleged that on the 10 August 2022 at 08:30 three elderly persons aged 62 and 70-year-old were on their way to Mhlotsheni locality when they were accosted by an unknown male suspect who appeared from the nearby bushes and fired several shots at them. The two male victims succumbed to their injuries while the wife of one of the males was unhurt.
Motive for the murders is unknown at this stage.
Police are investigating two cases of murder.
