A wannabe crime-fighting cat jumped into the driving seat of a police car and placed its hands on the steering wheel in an attempt to attend a call-out.
A cat tried to drive a police car.
The crime-fighting feline jumped into the vehicle and locked its paws on the steering wheel when Sutton police constables Kevin Monk, Liane Walker and Sophie Heywood opened their doors to respond to a call.
PC Monk told the Metro newspaper: “When the cat had been removed, it just sat there staring at the car as if it wanted to come back in.
“The cat was lovely and looked really happy in the car.”
