A Man In Durban Was Shocked And Knocked By A Vehicle. This event follows after and event of the same calibre in March.
A Durban male passed away when he was shocked and also knocked by a vehicle. The man is thought to be in his 40s, the event happened at an area called Bluff, Durban. The man passed away today. Ceron Meadows, a Rescue Care spokesperson, says the male was working on an elevated power cable when the event happened.
Ceron Meadows says, “The victim was busy with the wires when he was electrocuted and fell onto the road. He then stumbled across the roadway and was knocked by a vehicle.” According to IOL, the paramedics got to the area while the man was having a heart attack. The paramedics tried giving the male resuscitation for about half an hour. The South African Police Service was also at the area. The male could not be revived by the paramedics. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
This event follows after and event of the same calibre in March. In March, a male in Durban got shocked in his residence while he was attempting to repair his ceiling fan. The male, believed to be 36-years-old, also died because of his scars a while later. Yesterday, three men were also injured while at work. The men suffered tissue damage at Clairwood last night.
When paramedics got to the scene, the Durban Fire Department and South African Police Service were at the scene before them. It’s claimed that the three men were operating with chemical substances and an eruption occurred. The men were helped and sent to a close hospital.
