KWAZULU-NATAL – On Wednesday 3 August 2022, the Hawks’ Durban based Serious Organised Crime Investigation and Durban Metro Police arrested a 44-year-old suspect for dealing in drugs at Bellair area in Durban.
Members received information about the suspect who was dealing in drugs in the area. They proceeded to the said premises and a search was conducted. During the search small packages of cocaine powder with the street value of approximately R15 000 were found. Police also confiscated R20 910 cash suspected to be the proceeds of crime.
The suspect was placed under arrest and charged for dealing in drugs. He is expected to appear in the Durban Magistrates’ Court today.
