WESTERN CAPE – In our pursuit to create a safer environment for the people of the Western Cape, members attached to Kraaifontein police arrested a 17-year-old suspect for being in possession of an unlicensed firearm this morning at around 07:40. An intelligence driven operation with the focus on gang violence in the area led the members to a residence in Eastwood Drive Northpine where the suspect was found with a .38 Special revolver and six rounds of ammunition.
In Manenberg two suspects were apprehended yesterday for being in possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition. At around 12:45 members of Manenberg police spotted a suspect shooting randomly in the street in Ruimte Road.
