An unlucky bag snatcher unfortunately didn’t know that he was snatching the wrong bag. A bag snatcher was arrested by authorities in Cape Town. The officers found weed in the bag that the man stole. Wayne Dyason, the police spokesperson, said the authorities were replying to a complaint about individuals being robbed at the Delft Main Road and Olifant Street on Monday.
When the police officers got to Olifant Stree, they saw a man being chased by a woman. The police officers joined the woman in chasing the man, they got to the ma and arrested him. Wayne Dyason says, “He was in possession of a white bag which the officers assumed was the property of the female who chased after him.”
“The officers opened the bag and found 10 parcels of dagga. The bemused officers turned to the suspect who said he robbed the female of the bag and was unaware of its contents,” says the police spokesperson. The bag snatcher was arrested alongside the woman he stole the bag of weed from.
