Black Twitter Disappointed By Bachelor Not Choosing His Supposed Match #DateMyFamily. On the recent Sunday episode of Mzansi Magic’s ‘Date My Family’, the bachelor was 35-year-old Simphiwe.
On the recent Sunday episode of Mzansi Magic’s ‘Date My Family’, the bachelor was 35-year-old Simphiwe. He works as a motor vehicle assessor at an insurance company. The families liked him when he came in and he also gave them positive energy throughout. However, the date with the person he chose didn’t end well.
The first family he met was Natasha’s family. They liked his dress sense when he came in. They told him about Natasha travelling the world, thereby wanting to know what he thinks about that. He told them that he had no problem with that. When he mentioned his three children from two different mothers, the potential date stated that three children is a lot. The second family he met was Sonto’s family. The family asked him about his generosity, he told them that he was a generous man. However, one family member says as a Zulu man he knows that Zulu men are stingy. The whole family and the potential date liked him.
In the third family, Senzekile’s family, the family praised the potential date when they described her to him. When one member told him that they would leave the children with the grandma when they go out partying it felt weird for him. When the member asked if he has a brother, they thought she wants the brother for herself. However, she denied that she wanted his brother. The man ended up choosing Natasha but the date went south because Natasha wasn’t into the guy. Black Twitter reminded him that he should’ve chosen Sonto, the supposedly right person for him.
One tweep says, “…Sonto wasn’t gonna humiliate him like that…” One tweep says the show should perhaps organise a date for the two. “Maybe [Date My Family] should arrange a date for Simphiwe and Sonto…,” says the tweep. One tweep says, “And then he left Sonto, his perfect match…What a wrong move…” One tweep says, “Sonto was the ONE…but Simphiwe had to go for a prom queen.”
