On the recent episode of Mzansi Magic’s ‘Date My Family’ on Sunday, the bachelorette, Mbali Mdluli was looking for a guy that she would like. The 21-year-old is a gym fanatic. In the first family was Tshepo’s family. They liked her physical appearance when she came in the door.
They then called her a 2000 child when she told them that she was born in 1998. The family found it weird that she asked for beer but potential date liked that she drinks beer. They then asked her about cheating, she told them that he can cheat but he shouldn’t leave evidence off his cheating such as a child. The second family she met was Jabulani’s family. The family members was annoyed by her singing when she came in. They asked her if she drives, she didn’t like the question.
When the second family asked her if she drinks, it turned up into a tense debate of the scripture and her supposedly being a Christian. The last family she met was Mordecai’s family. Mbali felt awkward with Mordecai’s uncle there. She also felt as if something was going on between Mordecai and his lady friend Lulu. They also asked her if she would cook for the potential date if they ended up together, she stated that she would not make it a habit. She ended up choosing Tshepo but the date didn’t end well.
Black Twitter reacted to the bachelorette’s attitude, they didn’t like the way she acted. One tweep says, “This Mbali chick has that kind of vibe that’s amazing…first day but gets annoying after sometime…” One tweep says, “It must’ve been a lotta people’s exciting episode about Mbali seeing how many people are literally laughing about her so called demeanor, turning a blind eye to her disrespectful manners in people’s homes, 15 min fame or not, months later its reality sadly…” One tweep says, “I am failing to understand why y’all applauding such behaviour Mbali is rude…”
