On the latest Sunday episode of Mzansi Magic’s ‘Date My Family’ it was a bit awkward for the families because of the bachelorette. The bachelorette was Thandeka Malaza, a 24-year-old. The first family she met was Sihle’s family. When they told her about his children, she didn’t like that the man already has two children at the age of 28. She called him a busy body.
The second family she met was Bandile’s family. The family liked her physical aspects but when they told her that he is a teacher, she said that the teacher’s salary is basic. The family also didn’t like the fact that she used one of the members to describe the type of man she wants. The third family, Avile’s family, also liked her physical aspects. When they asked her about gender roles, she told them that the man has to take care of the household.
She also told each family about her dream of being a housewife. The family members didn’t like it. She ended up choosing Avile. The family members were not the only ones that had an issue with the bachelorette, Black Twitter also had issues with her. One tweep says, “This Thandeka girl wants a man machine that Vomits Money and Material things…a Blesser.” One tweep says, “Guys on behalf of all women I would like to let you know that not all of us are like Thandeka. We take care of ourselves and our personal hygiene is our responsibility.” One tweep says, “This Thandeka girl is boring maan- trying too much…”
