A video of Zodwa Wabantu being inappropriately touched by men while she was on stage made rounds on Twitter. Some tweeps felt as if it was no problem because Zodwa approved it. Some of the other tweeps were against it because it violated the performer’s rights.
One tweep says, “I don’t understand how people think its Zodwa who is the problem here…When actually she is being sexually assaulted.” One tweep was disgusted by the men who were touching the performer. The tweep says, “Those men who were inappropriately touching Zodwa are so disgusting.” One tweep says, “Just saw the video of Zodwa being touched on stage. I don’t know, I feel so uncomfortable on her behalf. There’s no way she’s okay with it, no way!” One tweep says, “I don’t care if Zodwa may be nudist [but] those Men had no right, no right whatsoever.”
Some tweeps say it also happened to other celebs. One tweep says, “What happened to Zodwa…What happened to Zodwa is the same thing that happened to Cassper.” One tweep says he doesn’t have an issue with it because Zodwa Wabantu didn’t have a problem with it. The tweep says, “I didn’t have an issue with women touching Cassper on stage, why? Consent !! Same reason why I don’t have an issue with that Zodwa video. Consent!!”
