Black Twitter Reacts To SA Citizens Strolling On The Road After Lockdown. Citizens were told to remain in their homes during the lockdown period.
Citizens were told to remain in their homes during the lockdown period. However, some citizens didn’t seem to listen to the instruction that was asked of them by the president of South Africa. The Johannesburg police officials caught number of people that were still not in their homes at the time. Some people supposedly tried to speak their way out.
The people that were seen on the streets got disappointed reactions from Black Twitter. The tweep who shared the video says, “We need [to] co=operate with the police in order for this 21 days [lockdown] its [not] even] 12 hours already people are acting clever.” One tweep says, “…my heart is broken…we are very irresponsible, act childish, trying to be smart for no reason. [People]need to grow and act responsible. I forsee 21 days lockdown extended because of our actions.” One tweep says, “This is just irresponsible of us citizens, acting like little kids. Lets all stay home. There’s no need for our enforcement to be pushing adults.”

One tweep says, “Honestly why can’t people adhere and comply so that we can fight this invisible monster…Job well done JMPD [Johannesburg Metro Police Department]…”One tweep says, “People are tiring and irresponsible.” One tweep says, “People are tiring and irresponsible.” One tweep says, “So our people can’t obey the laws of the country if they are not “policed”? Eish! Spoiled nation.”
