The bachelor of the recent Sunday episode of Mzansi Magic’s ‘Date My Family’ is Keith Chatty, a 25-year-old. The families each threw jabs at the man in the terms of his culture, using sports and food. The first family he met was Matisetso’s family, a 27-year-old.
The potential date wanted to know if the man has ever dated a black lady before. He told them that he has been single since 2017 but one member of the family felt as if he was lying. One member says if he gets married to the potential date he should be able to pay for 10 cows because he has money. However, he says 10 cows is a lot. The second family he met was 23-year-old Thato Masiki’s (named Thato number 1 on the show) family.
One family member was not pleased with him at first. When he told them that he lives in Midrand, the potential threw in the common saying of Midrand people not having furniture. Another member said that he did not seem suitable for the potential date because he sounds like a mama’s boy, the member then ended saying that he is boring. The third family he met was 22-year-old Thato number 2’s family. The members were surprised when they saw Keith. He was also attracted to one of the family members’ physical appearance from the beginning. He liked it when they described the potential date with the member he was attracted to. He ended up choosing Thato number 2.
Black Twitter reacted to the man being attracted to the family member from the third family. Some tweeps feel as if the man went back to Thato number 2 because of Mbali. One tweep says, “So he chose Thato #2, so can get to the tornado, mbali…” One tweep says, “Keith is back for Mbali, via Thato. We know.” One tweep says, “Keith chose the last family because they said Thato looks like Mbali…”
