Black Twitter Reacts To The ‘Date My Family’ Bachelorette Not Wanting To Date A Broke Guy #DateMyFamily. Last night’s episode of Mzansi Magic’s ‘Date My Family’ was quite an eventful one.
Last night’s episode of Mzansi Magic’s ‘Date My Family’ was quite an eventful one. It was also full of the talk of the role of the man and the woman in the relationship. The Bachelorette was Mapeu Mamabolo, a businesswoman. The woman stated that she doesn’t want a man that can’t take care of his family financially. The talk was okay with the first family.
The second family wasn’t the right fit for the woman because they thought that she was interested in money instead of being in a relationship. She wasn’t on board with the friend telling her that he makes over R300 per day from trading. When she didn’t seem interested, one of the friends stated that she is supposedly looking for established wealth. Some of the tweeps liked the way she spoke for herself.
One tweep says, “…I love this woman she knows what she wants…Lately men also want women who work/hustle now what’s the problem if we want the same? It’s not gold digging but being realistic…” One tweeps says, “This is the [first] time [Date My Family] has had anyone this level headed on the show who’s direct and knows what she wants. And her expectations are reasonable because you can see she’s doing something with her life. She’s not just sitting with her hands out.” One tweep says, “Wow honestly this lady knows what she wants I stan…”
