Tuesday’s recent episode of Mzansi Magic’s ‘Mnakwethu’ didn’t sit quite well with some viewers. In the episode, the man’s wife wasn’t being harsh but she was quietly showing the mistress to be the second wife. The wife’s physical attributes also exceeded the expectations of some of the viewers.
The wife looked quite young for a first wife, which had some people feel sorry for her. Black Twitter reacted to Ma Khumalo’s actions on the show. Some tweeps felt the pain she was feeling. One tweep says, “The pain behind mam’khumalo’s voice…” One tweep says, “…you can actually see the pain [and] hurt in Khumalo’s eyes…”One tweep said the man is a narcissist.
The tweep says, “I am not sure how they concluded that Ma Khumalo agreed when she said “Do as you please” how is that a yes? The Ghel was brought in the house to see if she was not from JHB…what narcissist behaviour is this? She did not accept.” Some tweeps felt that the guy was being unreasonable, considering that she is a pretty lady. “…this guy doesn’t deserve you…look at how beautiful you are,” says one tweep. One tweep says, “But the wife is gorgeous man!” One tweep says, “This man’s wife is so gorgeous! Moghel looks like she should be sipping champagne somewhere in Sandton!”
