Black Twitter Remembers When They Were Told About The Conspiracy Of Illuminati #Illuminati. In the 2000s and early 2010s, the word illuminati made a lot of people’s skins shiver because of what is associated with it.
In the 2000s and early 2010s, the word illuminati made a lot of people’s skins shiver because of what is associated with it. It turned some people that didn’t like church to the bible. That wasn’t all. People were told that their favourite celebrities were part of the secret organisation that supposedly sacrificed other human beings for money.
Black Twitter thought this would be a good time to reminisce about the days when the word and the concept scared them. The tweeps used the hashtag #illuminati. Some tweeps didn’t care what people said about the illuminati, they just wanted the benefits. One tweep says, “…they even said you will talk to snakes and taken to a place. I was interested in the money part [of] illuminati.” One tweep says, “When I saw illuminati trending thought they had opened their doors for new members to join, I was so read fam…”
One tweep also referenced a few hand signs that were thought to have been used by the illuminati. “It was during the [illuminati] peak when I became a Christian…Used to sleep with a bible and avoided using those signs…” One tweep says, “I remember we were on a school trip and our teacher told us RihRih, Jay-Z and Beyonce were [illuminati] so we got up [at] 1am to pray and delete all their music off our phones.” One tweep says, “Lmfao they said tazos pokemon in simba chips came to life at night and they were part of the [illuminati] so we shouldn’t play with them. I threw all my tazos away…”
