How one sometimes stays single is quite confusing to some people. However, for some the answer may be close to them. The people that they keep close and tell their relationship secrets, their friends, may be the reason why some people stay single. Some tweeps went on to say why some people are still single.
The tweeps use the hashtag #YourFriendsKeepYouSingle. One tweep says she regrets listening to her friend when her man wanted them to fix things. “I regret the night I was hanging out with my friend, and my guy wanted us to patch things but my friend convinced me otherwise…to this day I regret it,” says one tweep. One tweep says, “…because half of the time they are all low key [jealous] of you and they are there to make sure you all stay on the same level.”
One tweep says friends give hypocritical advice. “…because they give [you] bad advice that they themselves don’t use in their own relationships.” One tweep says, “Friendships and love are water and oil.” One tweep says, “…because the partners you get are not good enough in their opinions.” One tweep says, “…because you always looking for people’s approval. And this hashtag applies to both genders stop lying.”
