Part of being a human being is having phobias. These are normal for human beings; however, some people tend to hide their phobias which turn up haunting them. Some people are scared of heights, domestic animals and so forth. However, some people have to eventually face their fears in the future.
Black Twitter explains what they fear in the future. The tweeps used the hashtag #IamAfraidThatOneDay. Some fear that they might not be in relationships or what they have to do in a relationship. One tweep says, “I’ll be on my 40’s with no kid, no husband. Just me, myself and I.” One tweep says, “I will have a house mate that will call me “dad/hubby” and they will expect me to kill a rat when it gets in the house.” One tweep says, “money will expose my true identity and how [I] feel about you lots. I’m not humble.”
Some tweeps spoke about the serious issues of the world that they are afraid of. One tweep says, “#IamAfraidThatOneDay y’all going to normalize belittling/disrespecting people on here under the guise of sarcasm.” One tweep says, “…I’m afraid that I’m living in a country where criminals roam the streets, a 12 year old can find a drug dealer but police officers can’t, women are being raped, men are being abused, unemployment is high, and all we do is talk, no action is done!!” One tweep says, “#IamAfraidThatOneDay I’ll completely stop believing in love!”
