Bonang Matheba has responded to the negative comments that her new House of BNG MCC range, the Prestige Reserve has received, in terms of pricing. The media personality had a lot of people talking when she revealed the limited edition reserve at the Sun Met 2020 on Saturday that the price would be R799, which will be released for the public in March. However, a lot of people responded by saying that the limited edition cost is too expensive.
Bonang Matheba responded on certain posts on the internet about the product. One tweep said people are working hard to discredit the media personality’s work by having an issue with the pricing but they haven’t been having issues with other expensive products. Bonang Matheba replied by saying “They said BNG was too expensive when I launched it. Turns out, it was the number 1 selling MCC in 2019. I’m used to it. They power my dreams…” One tweep stated that someone told them that the taste of the limited edition MCC was not worth the price.
“But no one has tasted it yet. How would they know,” says the media personality. This is, however, not the first time the media personality had to stand up for her limited edition MCC. Earlier on in the month she had to respond to a fan that says she is being used as a front. The woman says, “Same as Tyme bankshe’s a front. I know some people won’t agree but it’s a fact. So I won’t be [paying] that ridiculous amount in the name of supporting black business.” Bonang responded by telling the woman to stay pressed.
