Bonang Responds To Spelling Error Comments. She was the joke of people on social media with a large amount of people ridiculing her.
Almost a year ago, Bonang’s “Queen B” Matheba was the joke of the internet when she released her memoir book. She was the joke of people on social media with a large amount of people ridiculing her on her spelling. Well, it has happened again.
The chaos started when she posted a picture of her MCC Brut on the Gram. Grammar Nazis saw that the word elegant was spelt wrong, it was elegent instead of elegant. The internet started sharing the spelling error with comments all over social media.
Bonang’s team told TshisaLive that this is an error that had occurred in the printing process of a small batch.
Bonang’s manager Davin Phillips says, “The bottle with the error was part of a smaller batch, a consignment of about 100 bottles, that were pushed out after a large amount of demand for the product.”
The spelling error has been corrected on the next coming batches. Phillips said that the brand has sold all of the bottles within two hours. New batches are being distributed daily.
Bonang didn’t take the mistake seriously. She made a joke about it on social media. She joked about making a white wine in the name of the spelling errors. She also promised one of her fans that the next batch of the MCC Brut won’t have spelling errors.
