Cassper Nyovest Explains Why He Won’t Collaborate With AKA. AKA and Cassper Nyovest have been having beef for quite a long time.
AKA and Cassper Nyovest have been having beef for quite a long time. The beef that the two have is supposedly because of AKA, according to Cassper. The ‘Move For Me’ hit maker recently told a fan that he won’t will never collaborate with the Super Mega because he swore at Mufasa’s mother. The question was raised by a statement that Cassper Nyovest said.
A user by the name of Sox noted that Nigerian musicians are making it big in the United States of America. He noted that Davido had a song with Chris Brown, Wiz Kid was featured by Beyonce and that Burna Boy’s album is making it big. Cassper replied to the tweet saying that South Africans could also have this success but people are hating on each other. “…We could have the same thing but nah, we would rather fight amongst ourselves and cut down our airplay to cut the reach. Disrespect our own sound and artists. That’s our vibe here. N****s not playing your music cause they don’t like you, you know? Those vibes. We lost,” says Mufasa.
One tweep went on to seemingly suggest that Cassper Nyovest and AKA collaborate, stating that it would elevate South African hip hop. The tweep says, “…but Cass [you] don’t wanna make music with the Mega, imagine where that would put SAs hip hop…” Cassper went on to say that AKA swore at his mom, so they will not collaborate but he promised other collaborations. “That that n***a swore at my Mom…That one is a closed chapter but I’m game to put the game together with anybody else [though]. In fact, I already am. I got sooo many dope collabos on the way. 202 is SA hip hop’s year!!! We putting the game together with Bangers,” says Cassper Nyovest.
