Social media is a platform that has made the world smaller. People from different parts in the world have had the chance to communicate in real time, all thanks to social media. Now it has given people the chance to get their marriage partner. TikTok gave people that lived far away apart from each other this opportunity of love.
Sarah and Daniel Hancock wedded 8 months after they linked up on the Tik Tok application. Daniel, who lives in London in the United Kingdom, followed Sarah from the United States of America on the application when she was the suggested account to follow. Ten minutes after, Sarah followed him back and thus asked him to sing a duet of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape Of You’ along with her. After some time, the two of them went on to communicate on Instagram. Two weeks after know each other Sarah flew from the United States of America to where Daniel lives in the United Kingdom.
They didn’t tell people about their meeting at first because of the fear of what people might think. The couple says, “We didn’t tell anyone at first that we are on the app as it was embarrassing. Our moms knew our videos from TikTok and they knew who each of us were before they met.” She went to London for 11 days and then Daniel Hancock went to the United States of America in December 2018. Daniel proposed to her in February at Boston in the United States of America. They got married at a chapel in Las Vegas then they used 11 days after the wedding to explore Chicago, Los Angeles and Boston as part of their honeymoon. They know live in the United Kingdom.
