DURBAN – The Provincial Drug and Firearm Unit continues to clean up the streets and send drug lords to prison.
This was followed by an operation that was conducted yesterday at Amanzimtoti area. The team followed up information at a flat on Beach Road in Amanzimtoti. A search was conducted at the premises and 1030 mandrax tablets were found in the possession of a 44-year-old man.
He was placed under arrest for dealing in drugs. The total value of the recovered drugs is R61 800-00. He is appearing before the Amanzimtoti Magistrate’s Court today.
