Eastern Cape Police are investigating a murder case of a 59-year-old man

Provincial Commissioner elated over arrest of two suspects accused of shooting and killing two women in separate incidents

KING WILLIAM’S TOWN – Willowvale Police are investigating a murder case of a 59-year-old man. It is alleged that the man was sleeping alone in his room at Mahlabathini Locality, Bonde Village, Willowvale. He was checked by his son on Monday, 13 April 2020 in the morning when he could not be seen. The door was opened and he was found in a pool of blood already passed away.

The deceased had suffered bullet wound injuries on his upper body. The firearm of the deceased was missing. The motive for the murder has not been established. No one has been arrested. Willowvale police are appealing to anyone with information about the murder to contact them at 047 499 6200 or Crime Stop No 08600 10111. The deceased was identified as Mabumba Mkiti.
