Members from Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offence Unit arrested a 27-year-old man who is also a caretaker at a school in Whittlesea.
It is alleged that the victim, 7-years-old, was afraid to go to school as she was allegedly being raped since 2018.
Police were summoned and immediately attended to the complaint.
The suspect was arrested and will appear before Whittlesea Magistrate Court facing charges of rape.
