EASTERN CAPE – Last night members attached to OCC arrested two females aged 43 and 50 years for dealing in drugs and possession of drugs.
The arrest comes after Police members followed an information they received about females that are selling drugs at Ntselamanzi and Melani localities. They firstly proceeded to a house at Melani location and found straws of TIK and small plastic containing TIK. At Ntselamanzi location they recovered mandrax and small plastic full of TIK to the street value of more than R1000.00.
The suspects will appear at Alice Magistrate Court tomorrow. Amathole Acting District Commander Brigadier Ngangema Xakavu appreciated the job done by members in ensuring that drugs are off the streets. He is thanking the community for sharing valuable information with SAPS and encouraged them to report any criminal activities to 08600 10111 or nearest Police Station.
