A FlySafair flight was stopped from flying at the King Shaka International Airport today. It was found that one of the FlySafair airplanes had a foetus inside. The company issued a statement after they found out about the incident.
”Flight FA 411 was scheduled to depart Durban for Johannesburg at 06:15 am. Upon final preparations of the waste management system for the departure of flight, our technical crew discovered what appeared to be an abandoned foetus within the system. Immediately the teams alerted the relevant authorities to initiate investigations,” says FlySafair.
The head of sales and distribution at FlySafair, Kirby Gordon, also released a statement regarding the issue. Kirby Gordon says, “We will be doing everything within our power to aid authorities in the necessary investigations.” The issue has delayed some of the passengers from travelling this morning. The company says the matter is being handled by relevant authorities. The relevant authorities are thoroughly examining the issue. The FlySafair made a plan on how to ensure their passengers get to their destination.
